Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar has reported that she is getting film offers from foreign countries now. In a statement, the actress said that she personally wants to give priority to her own country’s movies and other genres. Artist cannot restrict himself to only one field if he wants to prosper in the industry, she added.
Ayesha said that our people have started taking interest in national content (films). Maintaining the standard by signing limited and rare work is in the hands of the actor, she continued.
Back in 2015, Ayesha showed interest in expanding her reach and said that she would like to do a Bollywood project, but one that was compatible with her values and traditions. She believes that Bollywood is a much more lucrative platform for stars to work on, given their production budgets and investments, however, Bollywood movies come nowhere near to Pakistani movies content-wise.
Ayesha has previously accepted to have a special place for Bollywood in her heart. She said that she was a big fan of Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh and Naseeruddin Shah, but did not plan on moving into the industry at the time.

The beautiful Bulbulay-star started her career as a model and appeared in several advertisements, after which she moved on to dabble through hosting morning shows, appearing as a video jockey and compering cooking shows before finally landing on acting roles.

Omer now is one of the biggest and highest paid actresses of Pakistan who has recently built her reputation as a fashion icon in the country. In 2012, she released her first single “Chalte Chalte” and “Khamoshi” and later won the Lux Style Award for best album.

In recognition of her consistent outstanding performances, Ayesha was awarded the Tamgha-e-Fakhr-e-Pakistan (Pride of Pakistan) by the Warsi International Organisation this year. Currently, the star is working on movies like Kaaf Kangna and Waar 2, both of which are anticipated to be great Pakistani works.
