In accordance with orders issued by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the renowned Monal restaurant in Islamabad has announced its closure, which will take effect on September 11.

The well-known restaurant made the announcement via social media, stating, In order to safeguard the park’s rich biodiversity, the Supreme Court has issued a directive requiring the closure of all restaurants, including Monal, within Margalla National Park in Islamabad.

The decision was made in a case about whether these businesses in the protected area were legal. The court emphasized that within three months, all restaurants in the national park must close and be removed.
Monal, which is located in the picturesque Margalla Hills National Park, has long been a popular destination for both locals and visitors. Notwithstanding, the recreation area’s biodiversity has confronted expanding dangers from human exercises and traffic, inciting the court’s unequivocal activity.
