A score of social media users demands the hospital in Islamabad to respond to the controversy to clear the misconception created by Naftali Bennet, for the international community.

Pakistani netizens mocked the Israeli YouTuber on Twitter, said that the Israeli influencers are panicking under the mounting global pressure. A score of social media users demands the hospital in Islamabad to respond to the controversy to clear the misconception created by Naftali Bennet, for the international community.

Pakistan has strongly denounced the Israeli aggression in Gaza and Palestine in the last few days claiming the lives of more than 200 Palestinians in missile attacks and airstrikes. Pakistani Twitter is already flared up with its altercation with the CNN-international media group based in the USA, after the host called Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s condemnation of Israel as Anti-Semitic following an interview on Thursday.

Pakistani Twitter users are blasting CNN for twisting and manipulating the statements of Shah Mehmood Qureshi out of proportion to support their pro-Israel agenda. They accuse the channel of being complacent to the aggression of Israeli forces on unarmed Palestinians and children. #CNNExposed is among the top trends on Pakistani Twitter, reflecting the support Shah Mehmood Qureshi is generating from Pakistan for raising the voice for the rights of Palestinians and the people of Gaza.

His UNGA speech in the special session convened to discuss the bombardment on Gaza had received a colossal appreciation back home.

Foreign Minister Qureshi chose to speak plainly and frankly, not mincing any words, and condemned in the strongest possible terms the systemic and barbaric crimes perpetrated by Israel against Palestinians.

He sought the international community’s attention towards the grave violations of principles underpinned in international law, including international humanitarian law and human rights law. “The latest spate of Israeli aggression cannot be justified or condoned,” he said.

While underlining Pakistan’s historic role in advocating the just Palestinian cause, Qureshi said, “Pakistan played a key role during its non-permanent term in the Security Council in 1968-69.” He also mentioned in his introductory remarks that “our founding father Quaid-i-Azam was unrelenting in upholding the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister while highlighting the illegal evictions of Palestinians from their homes, said: “We are also gravely concerned at the continuing expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied territories and expulsion of Palestinians from their properties.”

“The tragedy of forced evictions of Palestinians from the Shaikh Jarrah neighborhood of Al-Quds Al-Shareef is the latest manifestation of the systematic Israeli effort to change the demographic structure; historical and legal status; and Arab-Islamic and Christian character of Al-Quds Al-Shareef. This is patently illegal, immoral, and unacceptable,” he added.
