JS Bank Limited, one of the widest spread banking networks in Pakistan, has joined hands with Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Ltd, also one of the leading automobile manufacture companies in Pakistan, to offer exclusive financing solutions and value-added services to their customers.
As part of the strategic alliance between JS Bank and Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited, the customers of JS and Honda can avail fast track vehicle delivery along with priority processing at JS Bank through Honda Atlas Authorized Dealerships.
Besides all of these, he has also served as a member of the Privatisation Commission, the Private Sector Advisory Board of the Planning Commission, the Sindh Board of Investment, and a member of the Community Development Board of the Government of Sindh.
Addressing the ceremony, Ms Amna Tahir, National Manager Corporate Affairs, Honda Atlas Car Pakistan Limited, said “This initiative has created an ideal scenario for both JS Bank and Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited. With this alliance, we aim to strengthen our customer relations by providing best Honda vehicles at the best possible financial package offered by JS Bank Auto Finance”.
Expressing his views on the partnership, Mr Imtiaz Bukhari, Business Head Central, JS Bank stated, “At JS Bank, we provide customers with high-value products and services which result in inconvenience and benefits for the end user. This alliance with Honda Atlas enables us to ensure that our clients are able to purchase their vehicles in the most efficient and smooth manner possible.”

Honda Atlas Cars Private Limited believes that this alliance will play an essential role in cultivating a strong mutually beneficial business relationship for both JS Bank and HACPL.
Honda Atlas Pakistan had recently been in hot waters due to the deteriorating quality of its vehicles, projectile prices and late delivery of vehicles. Customers had to book their cars atleast 6-7 months prior to delivery, sometimes even more. With this new partnership, the customer base hopes this issue will be abated to a great degree.
Also, the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States (US), Ali Jehangir Siddiqui has resigned as the director and chairman of the board of directors JS bank with immediate effect.

In a notification sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday by JS Bank said: “Mr Ali Jehangir Siddiqui has resigned as Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of JS Bank Limited with immediate effect.”
Ali Jehangir Siddiqui has now assumed charge of the Ambassadorship on 29th May, 2018, replacing the outgoing Pakistani ambassador to Washington Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry. There are NAB cases pending against him for alleged business offenses but sources close to him insist that cases are politically motivated being agitated by his business rivals; had these cases been serious Ali Jehangir would not have received his “Agre’ment” (Diplomatic Agreement in International law) from the Govt. of United States – sources add.

Siddiqui, who holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University, US, is the son of the famous banker and businessman Jahangir Siddiqui. He has served as director of Airblue airlines, Lucky Cement, Azgard Nine along with several other companies.
In 2014, he was honored as a Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum. Besides all of these, he has also served as a member of the Privatisation Commission, the Private Sector Advisory Board of the Planning Commission, the Sindh Board of Investment, and a member of the Community Development Board of the Government of Sindh. He is believed to be close to Jarred Kushner, Trump’s son in law and is well known in Washington’s influential circles, something that will help him in his diplomatic role.
