Justin Baldoni’s crisis management team allegedly accused Taylor Swift of “weaponizing feminism” to support Blake Lively in a harassment lawsuit against the actor.
Following allegations from the Gossip Girl alum that her It Ends With Us co-star sexually harassed her and fostered a toxic work environment on set, Baldoni denied the claims, calling them false. Legal documents filed by Lively reportedly include an email exchange where Baldoni’s team discussed Swift’s involvement.

In an email dated August 6th, the Jane the Virgin actor wrote, “Our team can also explore planting stories about the weaponization of feminism and how people like Taylor Swift have been accused of using these tactics to ‘bully’ others into getting what they want.”
The email, obtained by Us Weekly, also addressed the unpredictability of social media in shaping public perception, stating, “We have seen the most innocuous issues turn giant due to socials, or the biggest crises have no effect on social whatsoever. You just cannot tell at this stage. But, BL [Blake Lively] does have some of the same TS [Taylor Swift] fanbase, so we will be taking it extremely seriously.”

Blake Lively has set Hollywood ablaze with explosive allegations against her It Ends with Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni. In a shocking legal filing, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, workplace misconduct, and orchestrating a retaliatory smear campaign to dismantle her reputation.
The lawsuit, emerging nearly a decade after the #MeToo movement began reshaping the entertainment industry, underscores the persistent abuse of power in Hollywood and the often punitive repercussions faced by those who speak out.
The legal complaint, filed with the California Civil Rights Department, paints a deeply troubling picture of the production environment. Lively asserts that she and other cast and crew members endured inappropriate, unprofessional, and predatory behavior at the hands of Baldoni. Beyond on-set misconduct, the lawsuit alleges that Baldoni weaponized crisis PR tactics to tarnish Lively’s image, framing her as the cause of the production’s challenges and the film’s lukewarm reception.
