Initially focusing on her recovery, the situation became more complex when King Charles appointed her as the Royal Companion of the Order of the Companions of Honour. This prestigious and historic title makes her the first member of Britain’s royal family to receive such an honour, leading to mixed emotions for Kate.

A source revealed to a publication, “While no one is pushing Kate to do anything but recover, she’s still feeling a lot of pressure to get back to her duties and to be even more perfect than before.”

The source added that Kate is balancing her recovery with caring for her children, supporting her husband, Prince William, and fulfilling her sense of duty. “She’s taking time to heal, but these responsibilities are weighing heavily on her.”

A palace spokesperson confirmed that the Princess of Wales “is not expected to return to work until it’s cleared by her medical team.” Nonetheless, Kate feels the urgency “to get back into the swing of things,” not wanting the public to see her in a vulnerable state or to prolong her absence from royal duties.
