A statement of the Supreme Court from the hearing of the suo-moto case on No Confidence Motion went viral on Twitter. The SC had remarked that apparently, the ruling given on the NCM seems wrong. Picking up this statement, Khawaja Asif claimed that Supreme Court has absolved the opposition from the charges of committing treason. In his tweet, he thanked Supreme Court.

“According to the Supreme Court, the rolling of the Speaker of the National Assembly is wrong. At least now we are not traitors. Thanks to the Supreme Court Alhamdulillah,” said Khawaja Asif.

He had deleted the tweet but then again tweeted it on his Twitter account. PMLN’s Asif has been receiving interesting replies from the users who said that PMLN leader should read the entire statements of the Supreme Court. Some say that he is quoting partial statements of the Supreme Court on social media.

Criticism for Opposition

His statement came before the final verdict of the Supreme Court on the case. Earlier, netizens had criticized the Opposition for categorically speaking in favor of the USA. Currently, the news of the USA allegedly behind a conspiracy against Pakistan is taking over by storm.

However, the PML-N has expressed that Pakistan’s economy cannot survive without the USA. To clarify, a video of senior PML-N leaders regarding this is making the rounds on social media.

PML-N leader Khawaja Asif made the statements after PM Khan’s Thursday address. Flanked by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, and Khawaja Saad Rafique, the PML-N leader suggested Pakistan’s economy will suffer if PM Khan continues to make allegations against the US.

“There is no doubt that America is a superpower that can create lots of economic difficulties for us,” Khawaja Asif said. “If America wants, it can create difficulties which will render us incapable of paying our oil debt.”

“All the ventilators are in place because of America. If America wants, all the drips and ventilators will shut down,” the PML-N leader said.
