Meghan Markle wants the release of her biography now to ‘set record straight’ on their departure from the royal family.
She says the book will break her image of a ‘demanding diva’ and reveal her real self to the people. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seek to have a clean slate with the release of the book. The book is titled, ‘Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family’. It details the experiences of Harry and Meghan that led them to disassociate themselves with the UK’s royal family.
What does Meghan Markle’s biography offer?
Journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand have penned the book. The book will release on August 11, worldwide online.
An insider, close to Meghan Markle, says Meghan wants people to see her vulnerable side. She wants people to understand that her life has not been a fairytale since her marriage in the royal family.

“Meghan wants to shatter this image of being a demanding diva. Who was rude to royal staffers and others on her quest for fame and power,” the insider said. Adding that her biography will make people understand the monumental anguish and turmoil she endured.

The former actress wants to exhibit her vulnerable side to people, that the book does in detail. The insider asserted that Duchess of Sussex had plenty to say about what went into the book, much more than the public is being led to believe.
The co-author of the book, Omid Scobie, says the book gives a real inside account of the life of the royal couple. He said he engaged with as many people as he could and left no stone unturned.
”I’ve seen the couple remain faithful in their own beliefs and stand strong in the face of adversities which have been played out in the press, and I would like to think this tells the definitive version of their lives together,” the author further stated.

Also, it promises to go beyond the headlines to reveal the unknown details about the couple. Meghan Markle, Prince Harry left the royal family
Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan stepped down as senior members of the royal family in January. The couple announced to spend more time in North America, in a shock announcement.
The surprise news followed a turbulent year for the monarchy. However, it reflected the couple’s struggle with the pressures of royal life and family rift.
“We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the royal family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen,” they said in a statement released by Buckingham Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent Christmas in Canada. Rifts in the royal family
Harry, who is sixth in line to the throne, admitted of tension between him and brother Prince William. He said they are on ‘different paths’. “We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we are so busy but I love him dearly,” he said in an ITV television interview.
