Lindsey Lohan has been in the headlines for everything from her drug use to theft and misdemeanor. But now the actress has landed herself in the news for her attempt at an altruistic act that went very, very wrong. The actress, who has a reality show (Lohan Beach House) on the way, was in Russia when she saw an immigrant family and stepped in to help.
Making sure she was live on Instagram for the whole encounter, the actress explained the purpose of her greeting the refugees. “Hey everyone, I just want to show you a family that I met, a Syrian refugee family that I’m really worried about. They really need help,” she stated.
When the family was not interested, Lohan fixated on one of the young children. “Let’s go. I’ll take you with me and I’ll see you tomorrow,” she says. “Let him stay for the night, one night, one night, one night,” she tells the adults.

She offers to help them by letting them spend a night at a hotel but they appear to refuse the kind gesture (perhaps because they don’t understand English) as Lohan tries to persuade them to seek her help in a mix of Arabic and English. ‘The Parent Trap’ actress then follows the family as they try to move away from her.
“Guys, you’re going the wrong way, my car is here, come,” Lohan is heard yelling at the children who continued to follow their parents as she chases them down the street. Lindsay then accuses the adult man and woman of child trafficking and insists on taking the two young kids with her. “They’re trafficking children, I won’t leave until I take you, now I know who you are, don’t f— with me.”
She continues to talk as she follows the family and at one point says, “Is he your son? From Pakistan? Don’t f*** with Pakistan”. Things take a turn for the worse when she grabs a child and tries to take him with her, at which the mother of the child physically hits the actress.
It’s unclear if she was punched or just shoved back but the video cuts to Lohan on the ground muttering “I’m like in shock right now, I’m just like so scared”. Online the incident has been looked at as an attempt at kidnapping and many believe that the incident occurred because Lohan was intoxicated.

Lohan was most recently in the news because of her messy breakup with ex Egor Tarabasov whom she accused of abuse. He, in turn, insisted that she had taken £24,000 worth of his belongings. Locally, the star created buzz when she wrote “Lohan, Sindh, Pakistan” as the location of one of her Instagram posts and coyly wrote “Where am I?” in the caption.
The star was also rumored to attend the Pakistan National Day Parade, which later proved to be an erroneous bit of information. Lohan has previously detailed her experience with Islam and has stated that at one point she even thought about converting to Islam.
