Maryam Nawaz struggled to answer questions on Friday after she returned from meeting the victims of Machh tragedy. The viral video of PMLN Vice President from the press conference went viral on social media yesterday. Maryam Nawaz had landed in Karachi upon her return from Quetta.
The video clip shows Maryam Nawaz was provided written notes to address questions by journalists. The press conference was held upon her return to Karachi from the protest of the Hazara Community against the killings of 11 coal miners in the Machh area of Balochistan last week.
The leader kept receiving guidance and suggestion from senior party members including Rana Sanaullah, Pervez Rasheed, and Ahsan Iqbal.

The PMLN leader targeted Prime Minister Imran Khan with vitriolic comments. The video shows Maryam Nawaz repeated the answer senior leaders whispered to her. She, however, left the dice when a reporter asked her to address the killings of 400 members of the Shia Hazara Community in Balochistan during the time of former premier Nawaz Sharif. Meanwhile, Rana Sanaullah kept asking her to finish the press conference.
The PMLN leader had managed to garner praise on social media when she reached to offer her condolence to the victims of the Machh incident. Pictures of her embracing the families of the victims went viral on social media. Maryam Nawaz managed to receive praise on social media for reaching out to the grieving families amid a strong backlash against PM Imran Khan for not meeting the families of the victims of the Machh incident. Receiving praise on social media is certainly rare for PMLN Vice President who usually garners attention for bizarre faux passes.

However, this is not the first time, the PMLN leader has been caught in an awkward situation. A few days ago, Pakistan’s social media was mocking PML-N leader, Maryam Nawaz, for jeering Prime Minister Imran Khan in her speech at Garhi Khuda Baksh in Larkana Sindh. Maryam had attended a Pakistan Democratic Alliance political rally in the southern province of Sindh on the occasion of the 13th death anniversary of PPP former chairman, Benazir Bhutto.
A Twitter user posted a small part of her speech in which she was blasting PM Imran Khan. She said that PM Khan has weak nerves as he is always hoping for a breakdown in the joint alliance of opposition parties. However, her hilarious expressions in the speech cracked up social media users.
