Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey reveals Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are her favorite actors from Pakistan.
The actress was walking the red carpet of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) in Abu Dhabi when she asked about her favorite Pakistani actors. “Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are two of my absolute favorite Pakistani actors. I admire their work immensely,” said Pandey.
Talking to media, the actress named Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan as her favorite actors. Her remarks have garnered attention from both sides of the border, highlighting the cross-border appreciation for acting talents in India and Pakistan.
Ananya Pandey worked as the Assistant Director at the age of 16 on the set of Raees. The film was the debut movie of Mahira Khan in Bollywood along side Shah Rukh Khan.

Both Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan have worked in Bollywood projects. While Mahira Khan could not pursue her acting career much in Bollywood, Fawad Khan has appeared in multiple projects in Bollywood.
Both the actors also appeared together in Pakistan’s smashing release ‘The Legends of Maula Jatt’.
Indian singer Arijit Singh gave a shout-out to Mahira Khan for attending his concert in Dubai. A video of the singer praising the presence of Mahira Khan in the concert has gone viral on social media.
She took to Instagram to appreciate the artist’s humble gesture for her during the concert in Dubai on Saturday.

The singer took the mic on stage and expressed genuine astonishment over her presence. The singer candidly said, “You guys must be surprised, should I reveal. I should reveal it in a very nice way. Can we have a camera there? I have been trying to recognise this person, then remembered I have sung for her.”
With great fanfare and humility to match, he continued, “Ladies and gentlemen, Mahira Khan sitting right in front of me. Think about how I was singing her song Zaalima and it’s her song and she was singing and standing and I couldn’t recognise her. I am so sorry. Ma’am gratitude and thank you so much.”
