Mahira Khan is expected to walk the red carpet at Cannes Festival later this month. She will be the first to represent Pakistan at the 71th Cannes Festival scheduled to take place in France from 8th till 19th May.
In her latest interview, Mahira Khan said, “Cannes is a festival that every actor looks up to. I am glad that I got this opportunity.”
She will be joined by A-listers from Hollywood and Bollywood. Actresses from Bollywood industry including Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut and most probably Sonam Kapoor will walk alongside the Pakistani actress in the festival.
Mahira Khan is a promising face of the revived entertainment industry of Pakistan. She has been redirecting immense international attention. Starting from signing the contract of being the first-ever Pakistani ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, she has made several successive appearances at various international platforms.

Leaving aside few controversies and setbacks, Mahira Khan is smoothly ascending toward fame. Films like Bol, Raees, and Verna were a nerve-wracking test of her acting abilities that helped her transcend as one of the finest actors.
She turned a new leaf in her career when she starred against Bollywood King, Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’. Her debut film, according to various studies, was the most-watched and certainly, the most pirated film of 2017.
Last year, Mahira Khan won the award at Masala Film Festival in Dubai and she also appeared at Beirut International Film Festival. The screening of her movie ‘Verna’ at the UK Asian Film Festival was the highlight of the event.

The actor is currently gearing up for the release of her movie ‘7 Din Muhabbat In,’ featuring Sheharyar Munawwar as the lead role. The movie is scheduled to release on Eid-ul-Fitr. Also featuring in Bilal Lashari’s highly anticipated Maula Jutt remake, Mahira has signed on for a third big screen project called Paray Hut Love which will be directed by Asim Raza.
