Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, reportedly died by suicide on Wednesday morning after jumping from the sixth floor of a residential building in Bandra, Mumbai. The incident occurred around 10:30 am at the family’s residence, Ayesha Manor in Bandra West.
Anil Arora, a former Indian Merchant Navy officer from the border town of Fazilka, separated from Malaika’s mother when she was 11 years old. Following the separation, Malaika, her sister Amrita, and their mother moved to Chembur.

Malaika’s ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, and senior police officers were seen at her residence following the incident. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, and an investigation is underway. Malaika and Arbaaz Khan were married for 19 years before separating in 2016, with their divorce finalized in 2017. The former couple shares a son, Arhaan, who was born in 2002.
