Malala honored with mural painting in India

The youngest Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai was recently honored with a mural painting in India for ardently speaking for the right of education for young girls.

Malala Yousafzai recently unveiled her plans to extend her social work in India. Her organization ‘Malala Fund-Gulmakai Network’ will support the work of education champions in India. The network will provide necessary monetary and material support to those people striving to defeat the barriers that hinder girls education.

Malala Yousafzai is anticipated to take on an imperative leadership role in the future of world politics. Her philanthropic work has already given her a stronghold in global politics.

She says she has been receiving overwhelming support and appreciation for her endeavors in India. In a statement, she expressed her excitement to team up with the local people in India. She believes they understand the indigenous problems better and therefore can advise coherent solutions.

“The support that I have received from India has been overwhelming and I want to thank everyone in India for their love and support. I get so many letters of support from India.”

Malala Yousafzai after surviving a deadly attack by the Taliban has emerged as an icon of courage in the world. Yousafzai has been proactively supporting girl’s education globally.

The young social activist seeks gender equality too. She efficiently utilized her first attendance at the World Economic Forum Summit in Davos last month. In her interview, she urged powerful men to realize their role in ensuring gender equality in society.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said: “We believe that education is a great equalizing force, and we share Malala Fund’s commitment to giving every girl an opportunity to go to school. Malala is a courageous advocate for equality. 

Her charity organization ‘Malala Fund’ successfully cemented a partnership with tech giant ‘Apple’ to support the education of 100,000 girls in India and Latin America. Part of those grants will be allocated to Gulmakai Network that will support programs in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Turkey, and Nigeria.

“My dream is for every girl to choose her own future,” Yousafzai said in a statement. “Through both their innovations and philanthropy, Apple has helped educate and empower people around the world. I am grateful that Apple knows the value of investing in girls and is joining Malala Fund in the fight to ensure all girls can learn and lead without fear.”
