Man arrested in Bajaur for fake post on British girl

In a peculiar turn of events, a man from Bajaur, KP, has been apprehended for circulating false information on social media regarding a supposed “love affair” involving a British girl in the remote Salarzai area.

The individual, identified as Muhammad Gulab, allegedly posted a fabricated picture, claiming that a British girl named Ela had traveled to the distant region of Bajaur to meet her love interest. This misleading post caused panic in the police department, prompting them to deploy a contingent of personnel to provide security to the lady.

As the news circulated, the police acted swiftly and dispatched a team to investigate the matter. Upon verification, it was revealed that the entire scenario was nothing more than a prank orchestrated by Muhammad Ishaq’s friend, Muhammad Ghulam, who had been operating his Facebook account under the pseudonym “Gulab Jaman.”

Consequently, Muhammad Gulab was taken into custody for disseminating false information and rumors on social media.

Meanwhile, the residents of the area have launched a campaign advocating for the release of Muhammad Gulab.

A married Indian woman named Anju from Alwar district, Rajasthan, created a buzz on social media after she embarked on a clandestine journey to Pakistan to meet her Facebook friend, Nasrullah.

The story took an unexpected turn as a purported video of the couple having dinner with friends in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa emerged, sparking speculations about their romantic union.

It all began in 2019 when Anju and Nasrullah connected on Facebook. Their virtual friendship soon blossomed into something more profound, leading Anju to take a bold step. On July 20, she discreetly left her home, informing her unsuspecting husband that she was visiting friends in Jaipur.

Unbeknownst to her family, Anju traveled all the way to Lahore, Pakistan, with a valid Pakistani visa in hand. She surprised her husband with a call, revealing her whereabouts and assuring him of her imminent return. However, Arvind, her husband, was left puzzled as to how she managed to obtain the visa and cross the border without his knowledge.
