A video of a man assaulting two women in F9 Park of Islamabad has gone viral on the internet. A man in the video can be seen dragging the two men by their hair on the road.
According the reports, women were robbed of 10 tolas of gold jewellery and Rs 2 million in a mugging incident outside a food-chain outlet in Islambad. The disturbing video has sparked outrage on social media as netizens demand strict action from authorities against the culprit.
According to the FIR registered at Margalla Police Station on the complaint of one of the victims, the prime suspect, identified as Jamal, along with his accomplices, intercepted the women on February 23.
The alleged man then assaulted them and forcibly took jewelry, valuables, and cash from them before fleeing the scene. According to the victims, he even threatened to kill them.
Islamabad Police confirmed that the FIR was registered, and immediate action was taken. The police arrested the main suspect and obtained his three-day physical remand.

The FIR has been lodged under five sections of the PPC — 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 392 (punishment for robbery), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
Police also confirmed that an investigation is underway to arrest any remaining suspect involved in the incident.

The victim, identified as Hajra Mushtaq asserted that she was with her daughters outside the restaurant on Sunday, 23rd February. The main suspect, identified as Jamal, parked his high-end car in front of their car. He approached their car, which her daughter was driving, and tried to seize it.
“When I intervened and tried to reason with him, Jamal and his friends subjected us to severe physical assault. They dragged me and my daughters by our hair and beat us mercilessly,” the FIR mentions. The woman claims that Jamal also had a pistol with him and threatened to kill them before fleeing.
