A man is on the run after killing his wife and boils her in the cauldron in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi. The deceased was the mother of six children. The body of the 32-year-old Nargis was found in the cauldron of the kitchen of a private school in Block 4 of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Mobina Town police reached the spot after a 15-year-old daughter of the woman called up the police helpline. Cops took the deceased to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
District East SSP Abdur Rahim Sherzai informed the media that the husband of the woman worked as the watchman and the family resided in the school’s servant quarter. The man belongs to Bajaur Agency.

The horrific details of the murder followed following the postmortem. The suspect ran with his three children and left three children behind. Three children are with us,” said SSP Sherazi. “They are traumatized and shocked.”
According to the initial statement of the children, the man asphyxiated his wife with the pillow and then put her in the boiling water in a cauldron. According to the reported statements, the man forced his wife into illicit relations and killed her upon refusal. Following the fight, the man locked up his children and took the woman out.
“We have his [suspect] two cell phone numbers but he has switched off both of them,” the officer said. “We are tracing him and will arrest him soon.”
The autopsy
According to the report, the body of the victim was present in the vessel. The victim’s hair has been separated from her head together with her skin. Karachi Police surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed said they could not find the victim’s eyes as well. She said they may have been liquefied in the warm water and dissolved later. The lungs of the victim were rigid.
The left leg from the knee and the left arm from the elbow was separated from the body. Neither limbs were chopped off, adding that both body parts may have been cooked and heated before they were separated from the body with extreme force.
