Marriyum Aurangzeb calls out Imran Khan for sharing AI image

Pakistan’s Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb slams former Prime Minister Imran Khan for using AI image in his tweet while speaking about the ongoing human rights violations in Pakistan.

Imran Khan had shared an AI image depicting female PTI protestors standing in front of law enforcement agencies during the May 9th protests. That AI Image was created by Pakistani artists to illustrate the courage and valiance of the female protestors of PTI who dominated the protests following the arrest of Imran Khan. “The way Pakistani women stood up for Haqeeqi Azadi, they will be remembered and become part of our democratic history. Also what will never be forgotten is the brutality of our security forces and the shameless way they went out of their way to abuse, hurt and humiliate our women,” Khan wrote in his tweet along with the video comprising of an AI image.

Marriyum Aurangzeb had even conducted a press conference slamming Imran Khan and his party PTI for allegedly sharing AI pictures as real images.

Aurangzeb, once again, called out Imran Khan when a Twitter user shared an AI image regarding his Twitter space session on Monday night.

Sharing the image, the Twitter user said, “Almost 50K bots are listening to Imran Khan on Twitter space right now. –PDM.” The user said while trolling the coalition government.

Commenting on the tweet, Marriyum Aurangzeb said, “Artificial Leader, Artificial AI-Generated Pictures and Artificial Audiences. Sab Kuch Jali Hai, (Everything is fake).”

The government argues that Imran Khan is using AI images to propagate his fake propaganda and agendas on social media. He is allegedly misleading the people.

Marriyum Aurangzeb in a press conference had said that Imran Khan is wrongly accusing the law enforcement personnel of targeting and attacking PTI female supporters and protestors.

“Imran Khan had been planning such terrorist activities for the past 14 months when he was thrown out of power through the democratic process of the no-confidence motion,” she said.
