An old video clip of Maryam Nawaz slamming the now President-elect Donald Trump has gone viral on social media.
In the viral video, the Chief Minister of Punjab demeaned Donald Trump and his supporters. She asserted that Trump introduced a culture of violence and hooliganism in the United States of America, as seen during the attack carried out by the voters and supporters of Trump on the Capitol Hill building when he left the government.
Drawing comparisons between Donald Trump and Imran Khan, she accused former prime minister Imran Khan of introducing the same culture in Pakistan. Adding that, the May 9th protests were the result of the same culture. She called Imran Khan, the ‘Pakistani Trump’.
The video has gone viral on social media as PTI supporters are sharing the video following the victory of Donald Trump in the present presidential elections in the USA.
Tweets of several other PMLN members including Ahsan Iqbal and others against President Trump went viral on social media. PTI supporters are tagging Donald Trump and Elon Musk under the tweets sharing Maryam Nawaz’s video.
Some of the videos even have English subtitles, translating the statements of Maryam Nawaz, for better reach. Many of the senior PMLN leaders have deleted their tweets against Trump.
