Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ghani on Tuesday suspended JUI MPA Maulana Aisamuddin and expelled him from the house for threatening to blow up the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. A resolution condemning Maulana Aisamuddin was also passed which was also supported by the Awami National Party.

“Why give tickets to such people?”
In a meeting chaired by Speaker Mushtaq Ghani on Monday, Provincial Labor Minister Shaukat Yousafzai objected that tribal member Aisamuddin had threatened to carry out a bomb attack on the assembly but the speaker did not take action.

“Why give tickets to people who threaten to blow up the assembly with bombs? Threats to blow up the assembly if the issue is not resolved are not acceptable. These actions are spreading fear and I for one am scared. W need to be scanning anyone who threatens to use a bomb or threatens our party,” he said.
JUI protecting Maulana Aisamuddin, blocking the order to expel
JUI MPA Lutfur Rehman said that the member got emotional and used the wrong words in the assembly. The member mentioned the issues of the area while high on emotion.

Meanwhile, JUI and MMA members rioted in the House and tried to block the passage of the resolution and the order to expel Maulana Aisamuddin from the House, which failed due to a break in the meeting.

Later, JUI members also boycotted the proceedings of the House.
