Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has been praying for the success of PM Imran Khan as the opposition has filed a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly to remove his government.
PTI opposition leader Haleem Adil Sheikh and MPA Saeed Afridi met Maulana Tariq Jameel at his residence in Karachi. PTI Leaders shared the picture of their meeting on Twitter.
Sharing the pictures of the meeting PTI leader Saeed Afridi said, “Today I had the privilege of meeting Maulana Tariq Jameel in Karachi. Maulana Tariq Jameel Sahib prayed for the success of Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI. In fact, religious scholars like Tariq Jameel are the real assets of our country.”

PM Khan and Maulana Tariq’s strong bond
PM Imran Khan had expressed prayers and wishes for Maulana Tariq Jameel when he was afflicted with COVID-19. PM Imran Khan, in a tweet, sent best wishes for Maulana Jameel. “Praying for Maulana Tariq Jamil’s speedy and full recovery from Covid 19,” wrote Khan in a tweet.

Maulana Jameel had met PM Khan. Khan warmly welcomed Maulana Tariq Jameel and his delegation. A video circulated on social media showed Maulana Jameel with a wide smile, opening his arms for a hug.
Maulana Tariq Jameel has been an advocate of PM Imran Khan and has praised his work. In his meetings with religious scholars, he has discussed his vision and strategies for social reforms and how to connect with the youth with the teachings and lifestyle of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
Maulana Tariq Jameel delivered a key address in which he guided the nation on how to deal with coronavirus. His speech emphasized that this could only be done through spirituality, faith, and rationality. He asked people to look inwards and repent to Allah for their sins to get rid of the mayhem of coronavirus. He also backed the state’s decision to suspend congregational prayers and mass gatherings in the mosque.
