“I hope all of you are spending your Ramadan safe and at home with your loved ones,” she said and added “May ALLAH keep you all safe from the coronavirus and give us the strength to get through this. This time shall pass too, In Sha ALLAH. Meanwhile don’t forget those people who need you the most at this time.”
Maya Ali makes a comeback
In the first week of April, Maya had announced that she is temporarily disconnecting social media to find ‘inner peace’ and ‘reset’ the whole system.
She wrote, “Hello everyone, hope you’re all keeping well and doing great in quarantine. I know everyone is dealing with this differently but as I have mentioned already, there is always hope and this time shall pass too. Insha ALLAH. I am going to take a short break from social media.”
“Everyone is doing their best in their own way to deal with this time. I thought it’s the best time to detox, to find inner peace, and reset my whole system. I am grateful to ALLAH for all the blessings. Sometimes we need time to think and count our blessings,” added Maya Ali.
Pakistani celebrities remember Rishi Kapoor
Other Pakistani celebrities condoled the death of Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. Social media overwhelmed with the messages remembering the legendary actor.
Prominent actors including Humayun Saeed, Ali Zafar, Saba Qamar, director Nadeem Baig expressed grief on his death.
Pakistani superstar Humayun Saeed was ‘extremely sad’ over the death of veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor.

Humayun Saeed shared a throwback photo with Rishi and Pakistani film director, Nadeem Baig, on Instagram. He wrote, “What a great loss. Extremely sad that Rishi Sahab is no more.”
“Sharing this picture from when we had all gone to meet him and to cast him in JPNA2.”
“May he rest in peace. He was the best of the best.”
Nadeem Baig also shared the same picture and wrote, “Met him once but still remember those two hours of great conversation laughter and the tea of RK studios. It was a pleasure meeting you Rishi Kapoor Ji. Rest in peace.”
Rishi Kapoor died on Thursday after spending a day in the hospital. He was rushed to the hospital after he suffered from breathing difficulty.
Saba Qamar’s heartfelt message
Saba Qamar also remembered Bollywood’s late actor Irrfan Khan in an emotional message. She had made her Bollywood debut alongside Irrfan Khan in the hit movie, Hindi Medium.

Irrfan said “We were looking for someone spicy, someone with a sense of humour and who, aside from being beautiful, can act as well. So this combination was hard to find.”
He went to add that, he first saw Saba Qamar in a YouTube video. He said, “I thought she’s great, she has something in her. So I took that video to the filmmakers and Saaqid loved her. He asked to make a call to her after which she arrived and did a wonderful job.”
