Mehwish Hayat, Indian rapper Honey Singh join forces in “Jatt Mehkma”

Fans Thrilled by Cross-Border Collaboration as Hayat and Singh Stun in Mobster-Themed Music Video

Collaboration between Pakistani artist Mehwish Hayat and Indian rapper Honey Singh is out. The song titled Jatt Mehkma shows Hayat as a mobster’s girl.

A music video was released on Friday and has amassed 1.1 million views on YouTube. Mehwish Hayat is seen dressed in a black dress with a pearl necklace. Whereas, Honey Singh is seen wearing a heavy fur coat and pinstriped suit under it.

The screenplay of the song was written by Honey Singh. Whereas the rapper has also directed the song. The song shows both entering a lavish party with similarly dressed people, showing them as gangsters attending a party for some celebration.

When they leave the party with their convoy, they are stopped by armed men. Mehwish Hayat steps out of her car and takes on the people by pulling out a smart revolver from her purse. She shrugs off her fur coat and takes on the men. Later, armed men from Hayat’s convoy shoot down the men.

Later, Honey Singh appears and takes her back to the car. The song was first teased in October. She had posted a picture with Indian rapper and singer Honey Singh. “Karampura Karachi connection baby, something exclusive with one and only Mehwish Hayat!” wrote Honey Singh, who had been tagged in the post.

Mehwish Hayat revealed that she has a recorded a track with Honey Singh. “Basically, we had been having discussions about collaborating for a while now, and it has finally happened,” said Mehwish at the time. “We have recorded it in the studio, and it’s a fun song, very amazing,” said the actress in the video.

The video had immensely grabbed the attention of her followers on social media. They expressed their excitement after watching the two starts from neighboring countries coming together for a collaboration.
