Former finance minister Miftah Ismail broke down in tears while talking about the LNG case against him.
Crying over the treatment meted out to him during the NAB investigations against him. He said that the privacy of his wife was breached after his wife’s closet was opened during search. Ismail said that despite being exonerated from LNG cases, the day has brought back bitter memories.
When journalist Wasatullah Khan asked him about his feelings of being exonerated from the case, he said: “Today should have been a happy day but it was a bitter day for me because of memories.”

He also named the DG NAB Islamabad Irfan Mangi and DG NAB Javed Iqbal to the courts for the case against him.
