The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in Saudi Arabia has taken significant strides towards improving the experience of pilgrims through the implementation of various electronic services. These initiatives not only aim to enhance the pilgrims’ understanding of Hajj rituals but also streamline administrative tasks for the ministry staff. With a vision aligned to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the ministry is committed to embracing digital transformation to ensure a seamless and enriching pilgrimage journey.

Access to Reliable E-books To facilitate easy access to Islamic literature, the ministry has developed the Rushd application. This platform offers a diverse range of reliable e-books, seamlessly integrated with an e-library. Pilgrims can explore a wealth of knowledge on various aspects of Islam, fostering spiritual growth and understanding.

Digital Transaction Platform

This digital solution simplifies the pilgrim registration and documentation procedures, reducing paperwork and enhancing accuracy. This streamlined system optimizes the allocation of resources, ensuring a more organized and seamless experience for both pilgrims and ministry staff.

Reports Management

The ministry’s commitment to digital transformation extends to effective reports management. By adopting innovative digital tools, the ministry can efficiently collect, process, and analyze data related to pilgrim statistics, incidents, and feedback. This data-driven approach allows for informed decision-making, empowering the ministry to address challenges promptly and improve services continually.

Virtual Workspace

To foster collaboration and productivity among ministry staff, a virtual workspace has been established. This digital platform enables seamless communication, document sharing, and project management. The virtual workspace enhances efficiency, allowing ministry personnel to work remotely while ensuring effective coordination and information exchange.

Delivering Services to Female Pilgrims

The Women’s Affairs Agency at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah is playing a vital role in providing services to female pilgrims. The agency has conducted training sessions to equip their staff with the necessary skills to manage crowd flow, clarify regulations, and provide basic language assistance. These efforts ensure a safe and inclusive environment for female pilgrims, empowering them to perform their religious duties with peace of mind.

Focus on Comfort and Spirituality

The Presidency in Madinah has launched a program titled “Comfort and Spirituality in the Prophet’s Mosque.” This initiative aims to create a welcoming environment for pilgrims visiting the mosque. By prioritizing the comfort and spiritual needs of the pilgrims, the program reinforces the significance of this sacred site while fostering a sense of tranquility and devotion.

Health Services for Iraqi Pilgrims

Recognizing the importance of healthcare during the pilgrimage, the Health Affairs department has extended its services to 14,000 Iraqi pilgrims at the Jdeidet Arar land crossing in the Northern Borders region.
