A mosque in Jaranwala tehsil, Faisalabad, has reached out to offer assistance to Christian worshippers who found themselves grappling with the aftermath of devastating attacks on their churches.

During this month, the Isa Nagri area witnessed a series of deeply troubling events where five churches were singled out and subjected to vandalism, alongside the destruction of numerous other structures and homes belonging to Christian residents. The gravity of these occurrences prompted widespread condemnation. Acting Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar denounced the attacks as a “day of shame” and voiced his commitment to ensuring justice for those responsible. He reiterated the government’s unwavering support for all citizens, irrespective of their religious affiliations.
Local religious leaders confirmed that among the targeted churches were the Salvation Army Church, Shehroonwala Church, United Presbyterian Church, and the Allied Foundation Church.
