Khaby Lame is a 22-year-old TikTok sensation born into a Muslim-African family in Senegal. He recently talked about his faith in a Question and Answer session on social media. The comedian has a strong following among the Muslim population. The comedian has a following of millions across all social media platforms. The TikTok also mentioned his Muslim identity in an interview with Italian media. “Yes I’m a Muslim, a practicing Muslim, I don’t know what else to say,” said Khaby Lame.
Lame said that he was born in Senegal on March 9, 2000. His family moved to Italy when he was one year old. At the age of 14, he was sent by his parents to an Islamic school in Senegal to study Islam and become Hafiz-e-Quran.
The TikToker rose to fame with his videos of silent comedy. Lame performs hilarious activities in his videos. Within a short period, he has racked up millions of followers on YouTube and TikTok. He has even surpassed American TikToker Charlie D’Amelio to become the most followed TikToker in the world. Charlie D’Amelio has 142.3 million followers whereas Khaby Lame has 142.7 million followers on TikTok.
