Rangreza is the new Pakistani musical-romance film due to be released December 21st worldwide. One of the most eagerly awaited movies of the year has a star-studded cast including Gohar Rasheed, Ayesha Khan, Bilal Ashraf and Urwa Hocane.
It is directed by the debutant director Aamir Mohiuddin and written by Akhtar Qayyum. The director is hoping to recreate the magic of the past by bringing back what he believes will remind the audience of quality music that was once witnessed in classic films like Sangam.
The director claims that it is the first genuine musical love story after Sangam, which came out in 1997. The song trailers are melodious and leave you calling out for more.

Notably, a soulful track called ‘Phool Khil Jayein’ by Abida Parveen will have fans of folk music overwhelmed with when they hear her legendary voice. So far we know that there is one qawali, two romantic songs and one modern tune.
According to industry insiders, Rangreza has both value and content to succeed at the box office. Movies like ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ and ‘Na Maloom Afraad 2’ have managed to create a platform for Pakistani movies in recent times.
