Muhammad bin Salman prostrates after Saudi Arabia win over Argentina

Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Muhammad bin Salman pictured prostrating after Saudi Arabia win against Argentina in a historic upset in the FIFA World Cup 2022 match.

He along with his family celebrated the win. Overjoyed Muhammad bin Salman was clicked prostrating on the ground and waving the flag of Saudi Arabia. He even announced a public holiday on Wednesday in celebration of the victory. Prince Muhammad traveled back to Saudi Arabia after attending the grand opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. He along with the head of other Muslim states was present at the ceremony upon the invitation of Qatar.

His video celebrating the win of Saudi Arabia against Argentina is making rounds on social media. Qatar lost its first match to Ecuador on Sunday. The win of Saudi Arabia is trending atop Pakistan’s social media.

Saudi media showed images and videos of people with families taking to the streets of the kingdom to celebrate the victory.

Pakistan is also celebrating the victory of Saudi Arabia. “What a game of football it was! Saudi Arabia made history today by staging the biggest upset in the FIFA World Cup thriller against Argentina. Heartiest congratulations to HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman. We share the happiness of our Saudi brothers & sisters on this great win,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan also congratulated Saudi Arabia. He said “Congratulations to team KSA for their great victory today against Argentina in the Football World Cup being held in Qatar,” in his tweet. FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar is trending atop on social media.
