He said, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual?” He added further, “It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.”
Talking to another channel he said, “It is condemnable, it’s a cowardly act. It needs a permanent solution through dialogue, how long will the Jawans sacrifice their lives? How long will the bloodshed continue? People who do this must be punished. Hurling abuses won’t help.”
Soon the Twitter saw an outburst from the netizens as Sidhu’s comments did not go down well with them. Subsequently, the Twitterati have made the calls to remove the Navjot Singh Sidhu from the show. The top three trending were #BoycottSidhu, #BoycottKapilSharmaShow and #BoycottSonyTV.

Congress's Navjot Singh Sidhu is speaking Pakistan's language. Unsurprising.
But if he thinks he is pleasing Indian Muslims, he is actually deeply insulting them.
My Twitter and FB timelines are littered with Indian Muslims crying for #PulwamaRevenge. India stands united in anger— Abhijit Majumder (@abhijitmajumder) February 15, 2019
