Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif could face consequences for flouting coronavirus restrictions in London after a concerned citizen filed a complaint against him on Monday.
A Twitter user had tagged the London Metropolitan Police Service under the video of Sharif walking on the streets of London. The video was posted to Twitter by another user.

“More than 6 people are not allowed to be together in the UK at the moment. He is breaking the law there too,” commented a Twitter user under the video.
To which another tweep responded and said: “Dear @metpoliceukthese men are breaking the 6 people rule. Please look into this. Their group leader’s surname is Sharif and address is Avonfield Apartments, Park Lane. Thanks.”
The London Metropolitan Police Service immediately responded to the tweet and commented: “Hello can you please DM us about this so we can discuss the matter further.”
The Twitter user even shared a screenshot of the messages she received on her complaint. The user had registered the complaint against Sharif in the Twitter chat to which London Met Police assured to take action against them.

As per the COVID-19 SOPs issued by British government, only six people can gather outside at a time. However, the video showed Sharif was walking with more than six men with no face masks and social distancing.

British Government has made wearing the masks mandatory in public places while violators of gathering more than six people can be fined up to 1000 UK pounds.
Moreover, as per his critical health condition, he falls into the category of people who are cautioned to be extremely careful.

However, this is not the first time Sharif has been spotted roaming in the streets of London during a pandemic. Earlier, his picture having lunch with family at a restaurant in London went viral on social media.
