“Nawaz must tell who rigged the elections”, PTI

Fawad Chaudhry, spokesperson of PTI, spoke to the press in response to Nawaz Sharif’s press conference. In response to Nawaz’s allegations that the past elections were rigged, he asked the former PM to inform the nation about who rigged the elections.

In a hurriedly organized conference, Chaudhry lashed out at Nawaz that it was his party that rigged the last elections; after which PTI ran a campaign for 140 days against the rigging.

Nawaz had held a peculiar press conference a few hours earlier where he read off a piece a paper in what looked like a staged script.

Chaudhry emphasized that if anyone befitted from rigging in elections then it was the PML-N, calling all past elections rigged takes away the credibility of his three governments. He has no right to call himself a democratic leader if all the elections were dishonest.

Answering Nawaz’s threat to expose certain elements if back-door maneuvering is not stopped, he challenged the PML-N leader to expose whatever secrets he is carrying because ultimately, he’ll expose himself.

He ridiculed Nawaz Sharif for dodging questions regarding his recent visit to Saudi Arabia. Foreign relations should not be turned into family relations, he exclaimed. Emphasizing that Nawaz is being investigated for corruption and since his offshore company, Hill Metal, is based in Saudi Arabia, it is the right of every Pakistan to know what happened in his meetings with the Saudi officials.

In a hurriedly organized conference, Chaudhry lashed out at Nawaz that it was his party that rigged the last elections; after which PTI ran a campaign for 140 days against the rigging.

The PTI spokesperson also criticized Nawaz for using Punjab government’s resources as his private funds. He also demanded him to reveal his income sources and how 300 billion rupees were transferred to his company, which has no active businesses, in short exposing Nawaz’s company FZE to be a shell company.
