Nawaz Sharif calls Youth “Mummy Daddy Type”, Uses Derogatory Language AGAIN!

Shortly after labeling the people of KPK as "stupid," PML-N leader takes a jibe at the youth, referring to them as "mummy daddy."

Nawaz Sharif, the three-time prime minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), made a derogatory statement asserting that the true youth of Pakistan supports his party, excluding what he referred to as the “mummy-daddy ones.” This term has become a rhetorical jab at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters, often labeled as “privileged youth” by political rivals.

Nawaz Sharif criticized PTI for its promises, specifically mentioning low-cost houses, 5 million jobs, and a billion tree plantation campaign. He assured his commitment to addressing issues such as unemployment, directing former premier Shehbaz Sharif to tackle the prevailing problem in Faisalabad. This declaration comes as Nawaz Sharif eyes a fourth stint as prime minister, having secured relief from various legal challenges.

The PML-N supremo, who is known for infrastructure projects, pledged to introduce an Orange Line Train for Faisalabad residents, aiming to alleviate transportation issues. Moreover, he promised to combat inflation and reduce electricity tariffs, expressing a vision to bring back the era when essential items were more affordable.

His daughter, Maryam Nawaz, also criticized PTI, emphasizing PML-N’s commitment to serving the people without engaging in a blame game. Maryam, set to contest elections for the first time after her conviction was overturned last year, highlighted the party’s dedication to public welfare.

Shehbaz Sharif, former Prime Minister and younger brother of Nawaz Sharif, underscored the public’s “unwavering affection” for Nawaz Sharif. He highlighted Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to Faisalabad, declaring, “Nawaz Sharif has consistently regarded Faisalabad as his city and has introduced development plans… the infrastructure we established here endures to this day.”

As Pakistan approaches the scheduled general elections on February 8, Nawaz Sharif attempts to connect with the youth, yet his recent derogatory remarks, such as calling the people of KPK “stupid” for their past PTI government choice, is making him lose whatever voters he has left. These statements underscore a larger concern within Pakistan’s political landscape, highlighting instances where ethical considerations and moral standards are potentially sacrificed in the pursuit of electoral gains.
