Nawaz’s Sickness Evaporated seeing London bound plane: Khan takes Dig at health ‘Drama’

Dismayed Imran Khan again slammed the opposition in his speech in Mianwali yesterday. Khan had his doubts regarding Nawaz's health who could be seen steadily walking near the plane bound to carry him to London.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his speech in Mianwali, expressed suspicions on the health of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif; and also questioned the authenticity of his medical reports put forth by the medical board. Khan said he revisited Nawaz’s medical reports after he watched Nawaz Sharif steadily ascending the stairs of the private jet of Qatar’s royal family while departing for London.

Imran Khan said a narrative was maneuvered by the opposition that Nawaz Sharif may succumb to his illnesses if not allowed to travel abroad for treatment immediately; and that the treatment of his ailment is not available in Pakistan.

Imran Khan voiced his concerns in his speech in Mianwali, where he laid the foundation stones of multiple mega projects on Friday. Khan asserted he is mulling to get his health reports to scrutinize; he will get the matter investigated.

He also took an aggressive dig on other opposition members, calling Shahbaz Sharif a ‘jhoota Mandela‘. He slammed JUI-F leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman that the Jewish lobby does not need to conspire when Fazl is here. Khan even called out the sons of Nawaz Sharif and former finance minister Ishaq Dar who have fled Pakistan owing to corruption cases on them.

This is Imran Khan’s second episode of an onslaught on his opponents since Nawaz Sharif flew to London for treatment on temporary bail last week.

Earlier, it was during the inauguration ceremony of Havelian-Thakot section of Hazara Motorway when Prime Minister Imran Khan lashed at his opponents.

The audience had a fit of laughter amid his intense speech when he mocked Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his startling comments on the rain in Karachi, a couple of months ago. His short clip from the speech circulated on social media.

PM Khan said Bilawal Bhutto’s baffling explanation of ‘jab barish hoti hai to pani ata hai’ (water pours when it rains) has given a shock to the scientists around the world.

However, Imran Khan’s speech echoed the concerns of people who had reportedly raised questions on Nawaz Sharif’s health on social media following his viral images from London. Eyebrows were raised on Nawaz Sharif’s images in which he seemed as fit as a fiddle.

Social media was in the furor over the suspension of his sentence, moreover, they demonstrated bewilderment over setting a new precedent in Pakistan of granting a convicted prisoner bail on medical grounds and even rescinding objections on him traveling abroad for an exclusive treatment in the UK.

Nawaz Sharif has been granted temporary bail for eight weeks from Islamabad High Court on health grounds. Unsatisfied with the treatment in Pakistan, PML-N had pressed the state authorities to allow Nawaz Sharif to travel abroad for treatment.
