Neos Airline from Italy has expressed interest in launching flights between Pakistan and Italy, as reported by local Pakistani media.
Sources reveal that Neos has contacted the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) with plans to establish direct flights between the two nations.
In the initial phase, Neos intends to operate weekly flights to Lahore, with potential expansion to other cities.
The Italian airline aims to commence operations promptly upon receiving approval from Pakistani aviation authorities.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan’s national air carrier, AZAL, has also announced plans to initiate flights to Pakistan starting September 20, 2023.
According to an Azerbaijan Embassy spokesperson, AZAL will operate flights to Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi, recognizing the historical and cultural significance of these cities.
Flights from Baku to Islamabad will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, to Lahore on Mondays and Fridays, and to Karachi on Thursdays and Sundays.

These direct flights from Baku will connect to three major cities in Pakistan: Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. For the convenience of travelers, flights from Baku to Islamabad will be available on Wednesdays and Saturdays, to Lahore on Mondays and Fridays, and to Karachi on Thursdays and Sundays.
