Netizens believe bride of Junaid Safdar is not happy

Junaid Safdar's nikkah event took social media by storm. Some social media users congratulated the couple and wished them while others trolled the young couple and a large number of netizens believe the bride was not happy with the wedding.

Pakistani netizens believe that the bride of Junaid Safdar, the son of PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz, is not happy with the wedding. Comments poured in as pictures of the couple from the Nikkah ceremony floated on social media on Sunday.

Some social media users congratulated the couple and wished them while others trolled the couple. A large number of netizens believe the bride was not happy with the wedding. The pictures from the Nikkah ceremony showed the bride, Ayesha Saif, and groom Junaid Safdar sitting together.

Twitter users commented that the bride did not smile at her Nikkah Ceremony contrary to how brides are expected to be cheerful and elated on their wedding day. Such comments have triggered reactions from other social media users who schooled the other group to felicitate the couple instead of mocking and trolling them. Meanwhile, they also trolled Junaid Safdar for playing with his mobile phone during the ceremony.

On August 22nd, protestors gathered in London during the Nikkah ceremony of Junaid Safdar, the son of Maryam Nawaz. The nikkah ceremony, held at the luxurious Lanesborough hotel, caused friction between members of PTI and PML-N in London.

Carrying placards, the protestors chanted slogans against Nawaz Sharif as he attended Junaid Safdar’s nikkah event. According to the protestors, the Nawaz family used the public’s money to organize the lavish nikkah event.

They also voiced their anger at Nawaz Sharif attending his grandson Junaid Safdar’s nikkah event and stated that Nawaz Sharif should be answering for his alleged illegal properties.

The demonstrations infuriated the PML-N workers stationed at the venue and caused a scuffle between the workers and the protestors. The PML-N camp told off the protestors and said they should be ashamed of ruining someone’s wedding day, which is a happy occasion.
