Netizens cant tolerate Junaid Safdar being compared with Jinnah

Netizens are reacting strongly to the tweet comparing Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The Twitter user had said: ‘We heard of Jinnah, we saw Junaid’. A barrage of criticism was unleashed against the Twitter user. A Twitter user called him out for comparing Junaid Safdar son of the politician accused of corruption to Jinnah who sacrificed his life to serve his country.

A Twitter user wrote: “Jinnah, the highest-paid lawyer in British India, set his salary at 1 rupee after independence. Junaid, whose family ruled this country (or parts of it) for decades, clicked that pic in a $10,000 luxury suite on the Orient Express while Jinnah’s country is on brink of default.”

“I feel sorry for Jinnah. Like dude had no idea after bargaining a whole piece of country for his nation he will be compared to a londa who does aish on nana k corruption ka maal,” wrote another Twitter user.

“The evil of slave mentality is destroying generations. We need to help these people break loose from it,” wrote another Twitter user.

Junaid Safdar who lives in London shared his picture from The Orient Express- a luxury train. Safdar is dressed up in a brown suit and wearing black glasses in the picture. Sharing the picture on his Instagram account he wrote: “In loving memory of Daisy Armstrong.”

Earlier, Junaid Safdar grabbed headlines when he wore Rs.3 million antique shatoosh shawl at his wedding. Junaid Safdar was seen draping the antique shawl at his Mehndi ceremony.

The antique shawl is made from 70-year-old cloth and turns golden with time. The pictures had been circulating for the past few days until social media users noted the expensive shawl taken by Junaid Safdar.
