Old pictures of actress Mariyam Nafees’s husband with the daughter of Bushra Ansari have resurfaced on social media.
Social media users were a bit surprised to see pictures of Mariyam Nafees’s husband, Amaan Ahmed, from his previous marriage. Amaan Ahmed was previously married to the daughter of renowned Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari, Meera Ansari.
The couple married in the early 2000s and had two children together. Their marriage ended, and Meera remarried in New York in November 2020. Her children currently live with her. Bushra Ansari has often expressed regret over her daughter’s first marriage and talked about her daughter’s second husband with respect and dignity.
The pictures surfaced at a time when the actress was already in the news for her pregnancy. Her husband Amaan Ahmed is a US citizen. The actress had posted a picture of the couple traveling to the US. Netizens were quick to comment that the actress is traveling to the US to get US citizenship for her baby.

It was after Mariyam Nafees posted her pictures with her husband on a story that some netizens decided to dig deep into the past of Amaan Ahmed. Mariyam Nafees had tied the knot with Amaan Ahmed in an intimate ceremony in March 2022.
The actress had earlier shared her baby shower pictures, attended by her close friends and family. Sharing the pictures from her baby shower on Instagram, the actress wrote: “Alhamdulilah for everything. Thank y’all for all the love and duaas.”
In another post, she said: “That’s all a Nano celebrating her grandchild. This beautiful intimate evening wouldn’t have been possible without my dream team. These people have been part of our lives from our Dua-e-Khair and some from even before.”
The actress is receiving mixed responses to her pictures on social media. Some are felicitating her while others are a bit critical of her.
