Newly elected senator Sania Nishtar expresses gratitude on victory

In her tweet, Sania Nishtar thanked Almighty for granting her success and appreciated the love and support received from people as social media users congratulate Nishtar over her success.

Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf’s newly elected senator, Sania Nishtar, expresses gratitude in her first Twitter message since her senate election victory on Wednesday.

In her tweet, she thanked Almighty for granting her success and appreciated the love and support received from people. On Thursday, she said “I thank Allah Almighty for success in the Senate election. Thank you all very much for your congratulations and best wishes.” Sania Nishtar received 56 votes

Sania Nishtar had won from the KP on a reserved seat for women. Social media users are felicitating Nishtar over her success. They hailed her election to the senate also praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for selecting Sania Nishtar for the upper house of parliament.  Twitter users believe, she is the ‘most deserving candidate’ to win the Senate elections.

 

Netizens believe Sania Nishtar rightly deserved to be elected as a senator due to her exceptional work in implementing social welfare projects of the current government.

Nishtar is at the helm of the ambitious projects initiated by PM Imran Khan for poverty alleviation and relief to the downtrodden masses of Pakistan.

While PTI fans and followers mourn the loss of Abdul Hafeez Sheikh against Yousuf Raza Gillani in a hotly contested Senate seat, they also celebrated her election to the senate.

She is serving as the Special Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety. Nishtar is actively spearheading several projects across Pakistan aimed at providing economic and social assistance to the underprivileged class.

Last year Dr.Sania Nishtar made it to the list of the BBC’s 100 Most Influential Women 2020 due to her consistent efforts to facilitate the state projects providing relief to Pakistan’s downtrodden masses. The current government has introduced laudable projects like soup kitchens, shelter homes, reinvigoration, and expansion of social security projects like the Benazir Income Support Program, and introducing a multitude of other welfare projects under the umbrella of the Ehsaas Program. Nishtar has left a mark with her efforts to alleviate poverty in Pakistan.

While talking about Dr. Nishtar, the BBC wrote, “Dr. Sania Nishtar is a global health leader and sustainable development leader. Since 2018, she has been spearheading the transformative Ehsaas Poverty Alleviation program, which has improved the livelihoods of millions of Pakistanis by providing mobile banking and savings accounts, and other basic resources.”
