No one from outside can control Karachi through telephone now: Shehryar Afridi

Minister of state for interior Shehryar Afridi has said that now no one can paralyze the system of Pakistan from outside the country.

While addressing the 26th passing out parade of Sindh Rangers in Karachi Rangers Headquarter Afridi said Rangers have played their key role against terrorism in Karachi and safety of country’s borders.

Rangers conducted 16,000 operations in the five years and handed over more than 12,000 terrorists to police after arresting them. Peace has been restored in Karachi with the efforts of Rangers, he said.

No bargaining will be made on country’s constitution now and no one will be able to dictate decision from outside, Afridi added.

Peace and lights of Karachi have now been restored, he added. He said now the world is hearing Pakistan’s stance and now no one can control Karachi through the telephone.

He said Karachi has once again become a hub for economic and trade activities. No bargaining will be made on country’s constitution now and no one will be able to dictate decision from outside, Afridi added.

Taking a jibe at Pakistan Peoples’ Party chairperson, Bilawal Bhutto, Afridi said those who are speaking the language of the enemy while sitting inside the country should set right their direction as the state will make no compromise now and also will not be blackmailed.

It is pertinent to mention that PPP chairperson had drawn criticism for his objectionable remark as he claimed that the government did not arrest the leaders of the banned religious outfits but took them into “protective custody” to save them from Indian jets.

Sheheryar Afridi went on to say, “Those talking against the country should listen that they will be made an example. Those who talked about democracy should also hear that the state will fulfil its responsibility.”

“Attempts were made to derail our peace through external forces but the coming time is for Pakistanis and Pakistan. He said now no one will paralyze the system of Pakistan from outside, “Afridi said.
