Only Naseem Shah was upset after defeat against India, not the entire team

Pakistan is now looking forward to its last group match against Ireland. Pakistan needs to win the match convincingly to qualify for another round.

Against the rumors, it was only Naseem Shah who was visibly upset after the defeat against India. Sports journalists dispel the rumors that the entire team was emotional and upset after losing the match.

News circulated on social media that a few players of the Pakistan Cricket Team including Babar Azam and other players skipped dinner after the defeat against India. As per the sports journalists, players have regained their composure and that they are pretty relaxed now, knowing that their fate is not in their control now.

Only Naseem Shah was seen visibly upset and he was seen crying while walking back to the pavilion. Shaheen Shah Afridi was seen consoling him while walking with him.

These rumors are generally circulated by the social media teams of the players who try to mold the public perception following the defeat.

Pakistan is now looking forward to its last group match against Ireland. Pakistan needs to win the match convincingly to qualify for another round. Head Coach Garry Kirsten has met the players individually ahead of the match and discussed the strategies with them.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi who had warned of strict measures against players has now softened his tone and says discussions are underway regarding the team’s poor performance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Following the defeat against India, Mohsin Naqvi expressed extreme disappointment regarding the team’s performance. While talking to Geo News outside the parliament, Mohsin Naqvi said, “The consultation is ongoing and it is not appropriate to discuss [the matter] further at this juncture.”

Pakistan Cricket Team has lost terribly against the USA and then India. The chances of Pakistan progressing into the Super 8 of the tournament are getting thinner and largely depend upon the outcome of other matches. Pakistan is set to play its last group match against Ireland on June 16th, 2024 in Florida which is expected to be washed out due to the ongoing heavy rains in the city. Pakistan needs to win the match against Ireland to keep its hope alive in the tournament.
