VP Pence is apparently upset over Trump’s criticism and is almost ready to invoke the 25th Amendment, which gives him the power to alert the House and Senate Leaders twice and become the 46th President of the United States, with the consent of the cabinet of course. But overnight several cabinet officials have resigned, including Education Secretary Betsy Devos whose resignation was welcomed by many “good riddance”!
However, the Squad is leading an effort to transform America and take it out of the dark that Trump has spread across it if the VP doesn’t take that step.
To say the least, Congress is in a very busy position as we speak, with rogue members and extreme decisions, looming around.
Impeach Donald J. Trump
Earlier today, Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, one of the most vocal members of Congress and a member of the powerful pact that 4 freshmen, or women, congresswomen of 2019 had tweeted her intention to draft Articles of Impeachment. Now, she is done and is ready to introduce them into the House for a vote, which will most likely be a no-debate Vote.
“Articles of Impeachment for introduction, so proud of everyone co-leading this effort with us. We need to move quickly to remove this President from office,” said Omar in a Tweet.
This change is likely to be welcomed by Democratic leadership and moderate republicans. In the Senate, it is also expected to be passed with a 54-45 vote with 99 Senators Present and three GOP Senators of Maine, Utah, and Alaska. This would allow the VP to become the President and regain some respect and integrity of the GOP, which lost its life, yesterday, as Trump supporters raided the Capitol and four people lost their lives in a not so blood-less coup attempt.

About Senators that provoked such anger among protesters, the Senate and the House is considering impeaching and removing such members of both chambers. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of the state of New York announced that “Sen. Cruz, you must accept responsibility for how your craven, self-serving actions contributed to the deaths of four people yesterday. And how you fundraised off this riot. Both you and Senator Hawley must resign. If you do not, the Senate should move for your expulsion.”
Trump is throwing GOP congressional leaders under the bus, and it’s their worst nightmare. At this point of policy, the Trump family and the GOP do part ways. The GOP has always been a proponent of America’s rise but never America’s rise through Global Trade and economic suppression.
However, the Squad is leading an effort to transform America and take it out of the dark that Trump has spread across it if the VP doesn’t take that step.
In other news, as the Senate reconvenes for a tough day of business, the City is facing mounting pressure to increase Security around the Capitol for potential raids during Impeachment proceedings. DC is also facing a challenge for its own statehood.
A 51st state
2021 is a momentous year for DC as a city!
With the 6th day of January being one of the most distressing days in American History and the gloomiest day in Washington D.C.‘s history, Washington DC has a bright future ahead of it.
Washington DC is on its path to becoming the 51st state of the United States. The motion, introduced by a resident non-voting member of Congress, Rep. Holmes, is an effort to both help the voice of DC residents being heard and picking up 2 Senate Seats from the soon-to-be state. Rep Holmes, has long been advocating for DC‘s statehood. The city has a population of about 1 million people, more than that of Vermont and Wyoming. Their non-voting member is not a true representation of the people of the Capital City of the United States.

Due to the high Democratic presence, Democrats would hold the Senate for years to come. In a press conference earlier today, Mayor Muriel Bowser told that Point one on her agenda for the Biden Administration is the Statehood and the protection of the city, which is heart to the US Government.
To say the least, Congress is in a very busy position as we speak, with rogue members and extreme decisions, looming around. Not to mention the swearing-in ceremony in the west wing and the pressure to seat provisional members in case Open seats are made as a result of convictions. But what is most disappointing is the fact that Senators Hawley and Cruz have blood on their hands. Many have called them out, but this condemnation is certainly not enough, because it clearly did not work with Trump for the last four years.
