Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi speaking at a press conference in Islamabad on April 20 regarding Ormara said “We have specific forensic evidence that can be shared to trace these criminals who have done this.” “This is not the first time that this way has been used. I had a detailed conversation with Javad Zarif in the morning today,” the foreign minister said.
“He has condemned it. He said that Iran considers it as an attack on them and are willing to provide maximum cooperation,” Qureshi said. He said that “Since PM Imran will be visiting Iran tomorrow we will get a chance to discuss further.”

Six Steps to ‘Border of Peace’
Qureshi announced, “We have taken six steps to turn the border into a border of peace.” First, a new Southern Command has been formed for vigilance and prompt action. Its headquarter has been set up in Turbat, he informed reporters.
Second, a new frontier corps has been raised, Qureshi said. Third, Iran and Pakistan have agreed in order to keep border peaceful we will set up border centers, he said.
Fourth, we will fence the Pak-Iran border too and it has been started. All 950 km of it, Qureshi informed media persons.

Fifth, our border patrolling and exercises will be synchronized, with Iran, he said. Sixth, heavy surveillance will be done, Qureshi announced.
Conversation with Iranian FM
Qureshi said that he conveyed Pakistan’s sentiments to Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. Whenever any incident happened in Iran we did not disappoint them. When Iranian soldiers were abducted we lived up to the expectations of the Iranians, he said.
“We too expect that our brother and friend will take visible action and this will help eliminate anti-Pakistan elements,” he said. When PM will visit he will meet the senior most Iranian leadership and further discussion will take place, Qureshi informed.
Qureshi also said, “What powers are supporting the Baloch insurgents? We know under a planned conspiracy anti-Pakistan elements are supported and we know who they are.”
