Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar here on Monday held a meeting with Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Geoffrey Shaw and discussed different ways and means for development of human resource, as well as, agriculture sector in the country.
According to the SAPM’s office statement, both sides deliberated over as to how Pakistan could learn from the Australian government’s best practices for skill development of its youth and the uplift of its agriculture sector.
Matters pertaining to educational collaboration including internship and scholarship to Pakistani youth in Australia also came under discussion.

The meeting decided to hold a webinar between youth councils of both the countries, which was termed imperative for establishing strong bonding between their young people.
Kuwait to increase Pakistan’s skilled workforce
Kuwaiti Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah has assured Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari that his country would increase participation of Pakistani skilled workforce in its multiple trades in future.

President Dr Arif Alvi on Friday invited Kuwait to benefit from the emerging economic opportunities under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) by making investment in its various projects, APP reported.
“We share a joint focus on strengthening our #EconomicDiplomacy footprint,” Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Twitter after talks with his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmed Nasser al-Sabah in the capital Islamabad.
“Great meeting HE Dr Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah during his visit to Islamabad. Very pleased to hear his views on improving ties. He assured me of increased participation of Pakistani skilled workforce in various sectors in Kuwait in coming times,” tweeted Bukhari.

Pakistan and Kuwait have underscored the need for increasing cooperation in the fields of education, health, trade and economy. This was discussed at a meeting between the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi and the visiting Foreign Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Naseer Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
