“This was my third boot camp, and with each visit, I’ve gleaned new insights […] This time, our focus extended beyond physical fitness to encompass team bonding activities and performance-improving lectures,” said Babar Azam while talking to the local media outlet.
“I’m confident that we’ll return to competitive cricket as better, fitter, and mentally tougher athletes, thereby enhancing our overall performance,” he concluded.
“The fitter our players are during the season, the greater our chances of success will be,” said Shadab Khan.
Imad Wasim, who recently reversed his retirement to rejoin the Pakistani national team, threw himself into a special fitness camp. After meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, Wasim felt the camp’s unique training methods would be a major benefit.
Even though the workouts differed significantly from standard cricket practice, he and his teammates put in the extra effort. Wasim is confident that this challenging training will pay off and make them all stronger competitors in upcoming matches.
Meanwhile, Naseem Shah also praised the training camp. The cricketer said he is returning following an injury, the training camp helped him gain his full strength. Azam Khan has been working hard on his stamina (how long he can last playing). He feels ready and able to keep training to get even better.
