Pakistan Embassy has turned down reports of visa denial to Pakistani-Americans when trying to travel to Pakistan.
The embassy’s spokesperson clarified that these reports constitute “misinformation and disinformation” and stressed that there is no substance to the rumors. The statement was released on September 6th, 2023.

Principal Deputy Spokesperson of the US State Department, Vedant Patel, stated that he was not aware of any such issues and suggested that any concerns related to visa matters should be directed to Pakistani consular officials rather than the State Department.
