Pakistan and India are set to play each other on June 9th, 2024 in New York during the T20 World Cup 2024.
USA and West Indies will be hosting the tournament. Six venues in the West Indies and three venues in the USA will host 55 matches of the tournament. This mega event will be hosted from June 1st til June 29th, 2024.
In the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup, a total of 20 teams will compete, marking an expansion from the 16 teams that participated in the 2022 tournament held in Australia. These teams will be divided into four groups, each comprising five teams.
India and Pakistan are grouped in the same group. Group A features cricket powerhouses India and Pakistan alongside Ireland, Canada, and the USA.
Group B will witness intense clashes between England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, and Oman. In Group C, New Zealand and West Indies will face off against Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea.

Meanwhile, Group D promises competitive encounters with South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal battling it out for supremacy.
A total of 55 matches will take place in the 2024 T20 World Cup, spread across six locations in the West Indies – Kensington Oval in Barbados, Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad, Providence Stadium in Guyana, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in St Lucia, and Arnos Vale Stadium in St Vincent. Additionally, three venues in the USA – Eisenhower Park in New York, Lauderhill in Florida, and Grand Prairie in Texas – will also host some of the tournament’s exciting matches.
In Group A of the 2024 T20 World Cup, all participating teams will be stationed exclusively in the USA for the group stage. On the other hand, Group B and Group C teams will conduct their matches in the West Indies. However, the teams in Group D will experience a split schedule, playing some of their matches in the USA and others in the West Indies.
