Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf welcomes Polish blogger after Kiki Challenge controversy in PIA aircraft

News Desk |

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf welcomed Polish blogger Eva Zu Becks after she was targeted for dishonoring the Pakistani flag in a viral video. Eva Zu Beck was filmed doing a Kiki challenge in an empty Pakistan International Airlines aircraft on a runway.

Her video of dancing to the tune wrapping Pakistani flag around her body initiated an onslaught of criticism on social media. Eva Zu Beck is a travel blogger who is exploring the beauty and cultural heritage of Pakistan these days.

To mitigate the controversy, Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf conveyed a humble message in the tweet.

“Naya Pakistan welcomes Tourists from all around the World to explore the beauty of Pakistan and promote the positive image of Pakistan on the international level. Traveler and Friend of Pakistan, Eva Zu Beck is warmly welcomed to explore the unexplored beauty of Pakistan”, read the statement on official Twitter account of PTI.

Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf encouraged Eva and other international bloggers to continue their journey of exploring Pakistan since their views will boost the positive and friendly image of Pakistan around the globe.

Earlier, Pakistan International Airlines shared her video of Kiki Challenge from their official Twitter account.

“Eva Zubeck from Poland/England is a Global Citizen traveling around the world, but now her heart is set on Pakistan! She has been exploring Pakistan flying #PIA. She will be celebrating Independence Day in a style never before attempted in the world! Stay tuned for updates,” the airlines said in a tweet along with the video.

Pakistan International Airlines shot a promotional video featuring Eva Zu Beck in an attempt to lighten the negative image of the national carrier in the wake of a viral video of a baby going unconscious due to suffocation in the aircraft at Paris airport.

The Kiki challenge video, however, brought PIA into more trouble as National Accountability Bureau expressed its concerns. In its official statement, NAB said, “We want to know that who allowed the woman to go into an empty aircraft and dance at the airport”.
