Several Pakistani celebrities have expressed disappointment with the police action and mayhem at Zaman Park Lahore. Pakistani stars and celebrities rallied behind Imran Khan after violent clashes broke out at Zaman Park between supporters and Police following an alleged attempt to arrest the PTI chairman.
Adnan Sami, Mahira Khan, YouTuber Shahveer Jaffrey, Asim Azhar and others reacted to the Police operation in Zaman Park. The PTI leadership had called the supporters to Zaman Park to quash the attempts of the Police to arrest him. PTI workers and supporters fought the intense tear gas shelling, and water cannons for more than 24 hours.
Adnan Siddiqui reacted to the immense outpouring of support for Imran Khan. “It’s incredible to witness people from all walks of life coming together with a shared sense of purpose, fueled by their passion and dedication. Such an outpouring of support for a leader is unprecedented in the history of our country #PeoplePower,” said Adnan Siddiqui.

Atiqa Odho also expressed solidarity with Imran Khan. She prayed for the success of Imran Khan in her social media post. She said, “praying that Allah protects Imran Khan and helps him succeed in his efforts for Pakistan”. She said no one deserves to be treated the way he’s being treated for just trying to “break [the] shackles of misery for our nation”.

“He may not be perfect and has many faults but his heart has always been in the right place for which we must support him through his ordeals. Others talk while he walks the talk. Being harassed and punished for being sincere is an injustice we must never accept as citizens of this great country,” she added.
Actor Maryam Nafees condemned the baton charge by Punjab Police. She said, “These are your people. These are taxpayers. You work for them.”
Fahad Mirza also said that he is convinced that the real intent was to abduct and assassinate Imran Khan.
Farhan Saeed shamed the actors who did not come out to express solidarity with him. Singer Asim Azhar urged to hold an election. “Arresting or hurting a leader like Imran Khan will do nothing but create a civil war & damage the country even more. The establishment should be smart enough to avoid this damage & respectfully hold elections. Vote se naa darain.”

Mahira Khan commenting on the video shared by Imran Khan urged the government and law enforcement agencies to stop the attack.
