Pakistani celebrities have also spoken up for the release of Hassan Niazi, the focal person of Former Prime Minister Imran Khan who has been arrested under different charges.
On Tuesday, Hassan Niazi was taken under custody by Sindh Police on allegedly frivolous charges. Many on social media are condemning his arrest and are demanding his immediate release. He was taken to Quetta and is now taken to Karachi.
Pakistani celebrities have also joined the call for the release of Hassan Niazi. Ushna Shah took to her Twitter account and raised her voice against his arrest. “My friend @HniaziSF has been arbitrarily arrested because he is a member of PTI & the nephew of the chairman. Hassan is someone who has always taken on cases others wouldn’t touch to fight for the underdog. Please spread the word & insist on his release. #releasehassanniazi,” said the actress Ushna Shah in her tweet.

Singer Ali Zafar also came forward and asked for the release of Hassan Niazi. The singer recalled Hassan Niazi fought his case and helped him when no one listened to him.

In another tweet, he said he is hoping other arrested people out as well.
Barrister Hassan Niazi was arrested by Islamabad Police last week. According to the details, police arrested Hassaan from outside of the G11 judicial complex moments after he got bail in cases registered against him for vandalism at the capital’s judicial complex during Imran Khan’s appearance at the court in the Toshakhana case.
